Today is Mother's Day!

The Iris' this year are simply beautiful!
My mother's favorite flower was the Iris.   And ours were just gorgeous this year.  Here are a few pictures.  Enjoy!   And Happy Mother's Day to all.

Cascading Cards

These are the cards we will be making in my Cascading Card Class on Monday night.  I am so addicted to making these cards.   Some are made with cardstock as a base and some are made with designer paper as a base.   And as you can see, no matter how you embellish them, they look great!   So much fun!

Our little purse die!

Well, here are about 28 of the little purses my sister Denise and Rita helped me make for our Mother/Daughter night at church.  Actually we ended up making over 50 of them.   I used all of the retired pink and red designer paper I had in my stash and they turned out so cute.   Put a little chocolate inside and they are ready to go.    Tables will be deorated in red and pink.   Gonna be pretty!   Gotta love this die.

Welcome the the Stylin' Stampin' Squad April Blog Hop!

I decided to do something a little different this time.  I have the Spring Fever Simply Scrappin' Kit and wanted to use it to make my Easter Cards.  It is so gorgeous and cheery.   So even though these cards are simple they will give you ideas of what you can make with this kit.   And for my 3D I made an Easter basket from this kit also.   Enjoy!

Attic Boutique

Do you ever make one thing and think it needs several more items to match?  Well that is what happened to me.  I just fell in love with the Attic Boutique Designer Paper.
Here is my card made to match my desk items.  I just couldn't stop using this beautiful designer paper.
I saw these cute little twine holders on Patty Bennetts blog and had to have one for my desk.

You cannot have a pile of papers without a cute little paper weight.
I always redo my checkbook cover for my SU business.  Here is my updated one.

Stamp Club

Alice taught Stamp Club last  Thursday and we made 3 fun cards.  While these are not SU, I just love these ladies.  Sorta depicts where I am in life.  You can see on the inside of the card, the gals are considering adding all of the weight totals together and dividing them by 4; however I don't think it would help.   LOL  Thanks, Alice!

Sweet Shop!

What sweet designer paper the Sweet Shop DSP is.  This card is one we are making in my February workshops.

Happy Birthday to the fellows!

We will be making this card in my workshops during the month of February.  It is hard to see, but I used the Rich Razzleberry and Early Espresso cardstock to layer the stars stamped from the Sprinkled Expressions Set (which has become one of my favorites.)

Ok, I am in love.......with this die!!!

I am talking about the Designer Rosette die in our new mini.  The die makes these rosettes (lollies) so easy!  And they are so much fun.  I had a little party in my Studio all by myself while making these.    Below are pictures of the front and the back of them.   This die is on page 28 and is $42.95.   You can make various sizes, depending upon that size you cut the dsp.

Here is the rosette made in full size.  I can see these hanging around a little girl's room.  They are simply gorgeous!
